Katerina Mertikas is a self-taught artist based out of Ottawa. Her clear passion for family and children shine through in her colourful and vibrant "naive" expressionist art. Her work has been featured regularly on cards, calendars and stamps for Unicef & the Canadian Lung Association and her originals can be found in many galleries across the country.
'Shiny Streets' is our second puzzle collaboration with Katerina. While Another Goal provides a tantalizing challenge to hockey fans, Shiny Streets offers a colourful tribute to bus drivers, crossing guards, teachers, and kids of all ages.

Shiny Streets
I bought this puzzle because the image itself reminds me of well-illustrated kids' books from the 1970s. But then I was even more delighted to complete the puzzle. I enjoy all of Stumpcraft's puzzles and redo them often. Of all of them, this one ranks at the top (of the ones I have tried so far) - mostly because I loved the school and playground themed puzzle pieces and the inter-connectivity of the themed pieces.

Shiny Streets
I absolutely loved doing this puzzle! I was drawn to it like a magnet and was sorry when I got it finished. I am in the process of having it framed and plan to place it on a living room wall. The quality of the puzzle is A plus.
