About the Artist
Julien Delval is perhaps most well known for his beautiful and exquisitely detailed fantasy book covers for adults and teens. Julien is also a sought-after illustrator for board games. Malédiction was originally the cover art for a now out-of-print board game published by Alea-Ravensburger.
The timely resuscitation of this magical art seemed a perfect fit for a fantasy-inspired Halloween puzzle. Whimsies for this puzzle are themed around sorcery, alchemical symbols and equipment, as well as the personalities and creatures we now associate with Halloween. Clever puzzlers may also find all the necessary ingredients to make their own monster mash feature creature!
