Tucked away in the Canadian Rockies, Larch Valley is a breathtaking spectacle—especially in September, when the larch trees turn a brilliant gold against the rugged peaks of Sentinel Pass, just past Moraine Lake near Banff. Alison Philpotts masterfully captures this fleeting autumn transformation, allowing you to experience the magic of Larch Valley year-round.
Born in Montreal and now based in Calgary, Alison is a self-taught acrylic painter whose work is deeply influenced by the masters, her father, and her own experimental journey. Through layered illusions and vibrant colour palettes, she invites viewers to engage with the raw beauty of Canada’s landscapes.
