Catherine’s art is shaped by over 30 years of exploring her natural surroundings — from pristine shorelines and snowy mountain peaks to the lush subalpine forests near her White Rock, BC studio. Her work beautifully captures the rhythm of these landscapes and the life they sustain.
In Sidney in Summer, Catherine celebrates a cherished local landmark — the iconic Satellite Fish Market. For years, this lively wharf has welcomed families, birdwatchers, hikers, and campers as they gather before setting off on the ferry to Sidney Island. Native flora, curious birds, and glimpses of marine life add to the vibrant character of this historic spot.
