After meeting Sam at the 2018 Art & Craft Market in Calgary, we agreed to work together on a smallish, budget-friendly "snack" or "teaser" puzzle that would appeal to kids of all ages. The result is a fun, quick diversion that highlights the hidden geometry and animals that often populate Sam's eye-catching abstract landscapes. You'll have fun finding many hidden creatures in the puzzle and the art!

I underestimated this one
Having done about six different Stumpcraft puzzles (and being impressed and challenged by all of them), I discounted this little puzzle that I gave my nephews. During a recent storm, we pulled it out, and I did it with a 12 and 14-year-old in about 90 minutes. This puzzle has some of the best whimsies of the puzzles I have done. It was interesting to see my nephew use the photo to find pieces (where is the monkey face?) while I used colors/shapes (that dark blue is only in one place). Overall, this turned out to be an underrated puzzle for me!
I gave it to my grandson who just turned 5 He seemed to be welcoming of the challenge but as yet has not completed the puzzle. He asks adults for help to find the pieces, but was able to put some together in the short time he had. Glenda
Bright and cheery snack size Noah's Ark
So glad I got this one! Smaller size is useful when time is limited. The image style and delightful cut kept the puzzle from being too easy. The chunky pieces with smooth finish are satisfying to hold and the animal whimsies are fun to discover. Their placement is so clever and you don't always notice the multi-piece animals until the end. Loved it and will definitely build again.
My favourite rainy day puzzle
I had to wait until this came back in stock and will probably wear it out! It is an adorably whimsical puzzle with lovely cut pattern.
A children’s puzzle, the pieces are larger and bright, but the puzzle is still challenging and fun.
